Things to Remember
The school uses the “Textaparent” text-messaging facility to contact parents in certain circumstances, e.g. unexpected closure due to bad weather, meetings, etc. For this reason it is important that parents notify the school if they change their mobile telephone numbers.
If any parent wishes to meet a teacher please do so by making an appointment through the School Secretary, the Principal or with the Class Teacher. If parents have a concern regarding their child, they are urged in the first instance to contact the class teacher. If the difficulty is not resolved, the School Principal should be contacted.
Label your child’s clothing, in particular jumpers, coats and tops of tracksuits.
Only children in possession of a valid bus ticket are allowed travel on the School Bus.
If a child (over the age of 6) is absent for 20 or more days in any school year, it is mandatory that this information be passed on to the relevant authorities.
No electronic devices or mobile phones are allowed in the school. Pupils using mobile phones in school will have them confiscated and they will be returned after one week.
